A. Members require prior permission to paint their unit. If you are a novice painter, we ask that you refrain from painting. We have a list of wonderful painters who offer very reasonable rates and several of our members have taken advantage of this.
In the long run this will likely save you money as the Co-op charges members upon move-out for damages and for painting that does not meet the Co-op’s standard.
- Units are presented in neutral tones (taupe or gray/whites) to suit almost any decor.
- Feature walls are permitted with prior Board approval.
- We receive special rate on paint at various local paint stores and we are happy to pass these savings along to members.
- If you want to finish your basement you will need to submit plans and request approval from the Board of Directors.
- Any plumbing or electrical changes to basements will require licensed trades to ensure that work is done properly.
- We encourage members to plant flowers and shrubs to improve their yards. If you decide to change your backyard.
- You will be required to return the yard to sod when you vacate the unit.
